General Terms and Conditions

  1. The prices stated herein are valid from 1 March 2026 to 31 October 2026.
  2. All prices and packages are strictly applicable to certified divers only. Divers are required to present a valid certification card, either in digital or printed form.
  3. All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and include guided dives, boat transfers between Nemo Divers Merang Jetty and the designated dive locations, as well as the use of scuba tanks, weights, and weight belts.
  4. All trips shall commence and conclude at Nemo Divers Merang Jetty.
  5. Scuba diving trips generally operate from approximately 0800H to 1730H, except for Merang Bay and Merang Lighthouse trips, which may operate on a shorter schedule.
  6. Freediving trips operate from 0800H to 1600H and commence and conclude at Nemo Divers Merang Jetty.
  7. Prices stated do not include diving equipment rental.
  8. Payment may be made via cash, QR payment, debit card, or credit card.
  9. Non-divers (ride-along passengers) shall be charged 50% of the published rate. Non-divers acknowledge that diver safety and operational priorities take precedence, and crew attention shall be primarily directed towards divers until all divers have safely surfaced.
  10. Weekend rates apply on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Public holidays shall be determined in accordance with the official public holidays of the State of Terengganu, Malaysia.
  11. All packages include drinking water, light refreshments, and lunch, except for Merang Bay and Merang Lighthouse trips, which include drinking water only.
  12. All prices are inclusive of jetty charges imposed by the Setiu District Council.
  13. Prices exclude Marine Park Conservation Fees for Pulau Yu and Pulau Redang, which shall be payable separately as follows:
    a. MyKad holders: RM5 (Adult) / RM3 (Children aged 6–12 and seniors aged 60 and above)
    b. Non-MyKad holders: RM30 (Adult) / RM15 (Children aged 6–12 and seniors aged 60 and above)
  14. Additional dives beyond the pre-booked package shall be charged as follows:
    a. RM120 per dive (weekday)
    b. RM130 per dive (weekend or public holiday)
  15. Advance booking is required and shall be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. The official reservation contact numbers for Nemo Divers (“ND”) are +6019 9335700 and +6011 64666697. ND shall not be responsible for discrepancies arising from reservations made through unauthorised channels or where no official invoice has been issued. Walk-in customers shall be accommodated subject to availability.
  16. All bookings must be confirmed with a 50% deposit. Confirmed bookings remain subject to force majeure, weather conditions, and sea conditions.
  17. All trips are subject to minimum diver participation requirements as follows:
    a. Merang Lighthouse and Merang Bay – No minimum requirement
    b. Bidong Island – Minimum of 4 divers
    c. Pulau Yu, Redang, and Lang Tengah – Minimum of 6 divers
  18. In the event that the minimum number of divers is not met, customers may elect to:
    a. Reschedule the trip to an alternative date;
    b. Proceed with the trip by paying a Fuel Surcharge for Minimum Diver, calculated at RM100 per diver below the required minimum; or
    c. Cancel the reservation.
  19. Due to uncertainty in Petrol RON95 pricing, a Fuel Surcharge for Petrol Hike (FSPH) shall be implemented. Please refer to the Price List for applicable FSPH rates.
  20. Nemo Divers reserves the right to combine bookings with other reservations in order to meet minimum diver participation requirements. Customers are encouraged to make bookings in advance to facilitate group matching.
